OnlineSIAA Training - Responding to Domestic Abuse as an Independent Advocate is designed to provide independent advocates with tools to respond to Domestic Abuse.
SIAA facilitates many training events, roundtables, and information sharing sessions specifically intended for independent advocacy organisations. These events are member-only and designed to provide you with new skills, build organisational capacity and provide an opportunity for you to share your views on key policy topics relevant to human rights and independent advocacy.
SIAA also run regular online peer support sessions. The peer support sessions are informal opportunities for you to meet colleagues from across the sector, share ideas and provide mutual support. We run sessions for managers and sessions for staff once a month.

SIAA Training - Responding to Domestic Abuse as an Independent Advocate is designed to provide independent advocates with tools to respond to Domestic Abuse.
The Communication and Dementia training, led by Age Scotland, will focus on giving you knowledge, tools and strategies to improve communication with people who live with dementia.
The session will be an opportunity for independent advocates to share learning and ideas around collective advocacy.
The SIAA "Meet the Board" session is a great opportunity for any prospective applicants to join the SIAA Board. Participants can chat with current Trustees about their experience of sitting on the SIAA Board.
