We hope you have already been able to take a look at SIAA’s new publication, ‘Independent advocacy in action‘, which contains 21 case studies documenting an issue or issues brought by an advocacy partner or group and details what support the independent advocate provided. The document also identifies which elements of the Principles document the case illustrates, highlighting the standards and indicators each case study is illustrating.
SIAA chose not to publish hard copies of the new ‘Independent advocacy in action’ case studies publication due to the move to more home and digital working, since the start of the pandemic. However, we have had an enquiry about hard copies so want to check that this is the right decision for our members.
